My summer plans, and what I have learned

My summer plans is that am going to return to my country Kuwait hopefully once ALP semester ends. I'm going to stay there for about 15 days, seeing my family, relatives, and friends. After, I'm going to return back to USA for continuing studying ALP for summer. On October, hopefully I'll return back to my country again and stay there for 2 months and then start university in January.

From my stay here in the USA as a foreign student, I had learned many things. I have a changed a lot. I am now more responsible than before. Also, I feel like I understood life much better than before. For instance, I have learned how to organize my time and how to not trust anyone. In my point of view, living alone as a foreign study is not an easy thing to handle at first. You have to pick the right friends because they sure will influence on you. In addition, you should do your chores by yourself and not ask for help just in emergency cases because the other person might not be trustworthy and he might have his own things to be done with.

Boston Marathon - Paraphrase

Boston Marathon Suspects

As we know what happened in Boston, the two suspects Dzhokor Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan had planned for an another explosion in New York. They were thinking and planning that Times Square was their next location for putting bombs there and exploding this crowded place.

Actually, in last friday, there was a fight between these two suspects and the police, where there was shooting in that time. During the fight, the big brother who was Tamerlan had been killed from the shooting that happened, while his brother Dzhokor ran away from the police. After, the police found Dzohkor hiding in a boat in yard behind a house. What happened next was that "He told the FBI, apparently, that he and his brother had intended to drive to New York and detonate additional explosives in Times Square. They had built these explosives and we know they had the capacity to carry out the catastrophe" (2013, par 3).

What I knew more about USA in my spring break

In my spring break I had went to tempe, Arizona. My best friends were actually studying there so I thought of visiting them because long time I haven't seen them and for visiting another state as well. Once I've been back to California, I observed a new thing that I was knowledgeable about which is different than California which is mostly the lifestyle.

I saw that Arizona is totally different than California, its more flat and it was like a desert. There wasn't a lot of things to do out there. For instance, my friends were telling me that in weekends, they mostly gather or have dinner outside. There was not any more choices to do except they rarely go to Flagstaff one time in a month to change the routine. On the other hand, the climate was different also. It was much hotter than California. These were the main things I observed from my visit to Arizona which is that every state has different way of living or the place differs in entertainment or tourism.

My Dream Job

When I finished Kindergarden, my parents got me to a private English School in Kuwait to have a bright, successful future. My dream job since I was a child was being a popular doctor (surgeon). When I was small, I liked to cure myself by myself. For example, If I bleed, I put cologne on the scar for the skin to recover. Also, I was really interested in everything which involves science. Now, I chose a different major but it also have science and there is a reason that lead me to chose it.

When I grew bigger and was about 15 years old, my father took me to Qadsia Sporting Club for swimming. This had an effect on my life which was from that I had chosen my major. After learning how to swim, I entered Waterpolo and trained hard that I became a player in the team. Waterpolo is a sport that requires physical ability and mental ability so its very important to know what to eat. Healthy food plays an important role in a person's brain and body. I started to eat healthy food that contains a lot of proteins, vitamins, and minerals which my body requires. After eating healthy food, I felt I am more stronger and my muscles grew bigger. In fact, I also concentrated more in most of my matches rather than before eating healthy food. When I was about to graduate, It was time to choose my major. I felt that Nutritional Science is the best major that suits me. Im always interested in things that benefits you in life and specially in my sport which I consider it an important thing in my life. In addition, I see that there is a strong relationship between my sport and my major because from my sport I chose my major. I am willing to obtain the PhD to be a famous Nutritional Science doctor because I really like it and that my country, and my parents, become proud of me one day.

Travel

Traveling is a very important transportation in for many reasons. People travel now a days for many things to do. Most people travel for education and for entertainment. I think that people must travel to spend a time discovering countries and knowing more about cultures, not just staying in their own spot.

Traveling plays a major role in a person frame of find rather than traveling for doing what he would do. I suggest that every person should travel and reach any destination he wants. In every continent, there is a special nature or landscapes. Therefore, each person personaltiy differ from one another, so he would live the moment by spending time there relaxing and contemplating. In addition, he would find himself more comfortable from being away from stress. In my point of view, each person has to travel at least 3 times in a year which gives time for comforting his brain and his body. Overall, traveling is very important that everyone needs for changing a bit of his life discovering places, relaxing, and enjoying.

Introduction about myself

Hello, I'm Khalil AlHazzani from Kuwait, a student here in Cal State University, Fullerton. I attended this university to study ALP so I could imrove my language and pass the IELTS test. I have been here to the US from October 2012. My level is advanced level. My major is Nutrition science, and I am a waterpolo player.

Nutrition Science is a very interesting major because it lets u know what good for your health by eating food that your body requires daily. It is very helpful and useful major because you will learn many things for yourself and you can help a member of your family if he is fat or he needs to gain wait. I chose it also because I'm a waterpolo player so I need to eat food which gives me a boost or powerful energy.

I play waterpolo since 2010. I became a professional waterpolo player now and I could be able to play with the first team. I found myself a waterpolo club in Claremont and Im training usually everyday. Waterpolo is a great sport which needs physical power and mental power. I wish there was a waterpolo team for CSUF but unfortunately there is not nor my major. I will continue studying ALP till Proficient
level and then I will continue studying my major.
